Research and studies
On innovation on the micro and macroeconomic plane. There is a combination of competitively announced projects (Framework Program, National Plan, regional Plans) and studies commissioned by firms and institutions, as well as the requirements of the Madrid Scientific Park itself.

Training
 It includes aspects of regulated training (official postgraduate qualifications-Masters’ and Doctorate programs) and non-regulated training on different aspects of innovation, such as courses in areas related to the training of entrepreneurs in technology-based firms, entrepreneurial skills in this same type of firm, courses on managing and directing innovation and other commissioned ones.

Evaluation of firms and institutions
It includes both aspects of business development, such as the design and evaluation of innovation policies. As with training tasks, those for assessment and collaboration will have, in addition to an initial content for present-day or potential firms, in the Madrid Science Park, others designed for external collaborations which may be planned by the Park with regard to private and public institutions in other geographical and institutional environments.
